Oberheim TEO-5
After the incredible response to the first bank, diving right back into the Oberheim TEO-5 for a second round of Patch making was an absolute no-brainer. It continues to punch well above its weight in the Studio.
While the first volume captured that quintessential, bold early-80s OB character the sound that defined everyone from Prince to classic Electro this second outing pushes the architecture even further. It still holds onto that undeniable Oberheim warmth, but we're taking it into fresh, unexplored sonic territory.
I've designed another 128 Patches that lean heavily into modern, complex Soundscapes and deep, Evolving Pads, while still delivering the cutting Synth Basses, soaring Leads, classic Strings, massive PolySynths, and Arp's you expect.
Support for Banks 1 to G is added, along with Individual Patches for easy loading. You also get a complete Snapshot of the Synth (Bundle only), keeping the Factory Patches intact with Matrix Vol 2 loaded straight into the User Banks.
Performance control remains a huge focus. Controllers are programmed for every single sound, with the Mod Wheel and Pitch Bend often driving multiple Parameters at the same time to really bring the Patches to life.

Wow...What a Cracking little Synth!
Having worked on the Oberheim OB-X8 and also making 3 Banks for the Oberheim OB6, it was a definite that the TEO-5 was going to be in my Studio at some point for Patch making.
Like many of us, it's the sound of the early 80's and while the Prophet 5 has that title too, for me the OB's big and bold sound is THE 80's to me. Not just for those Classic Bands such as Rush, Prince and so on, but for me, it was in a lot of early Electro!
I've made 128 Patches with many Classic Sounds, however the focus has been on new Sounds, from Evolving Pads & Strings, to Cutting Bass & Lead, Huge PolySynth's and Bells, to Arp's & FX, plus much more.
Support for Banks 1 to G is added, as well as Individual Patches for easy loading, as well as a complete Snapshot of the Saynth, including Factory Patches and Matrix loaded to User Banks 1 to 8.
